Startpage: (DDBNEXT-3207)

• On top we see the claim, a subtitle, a key visual and a search field
• There is no searchbar in the header of the startpage
• The content is centered horizontally like in the entire DDB Portal
• A picture on the right and the title "Geschichte aus erster Hand"
• The year figures in the subtitle should come from the search index so that the year of the oldest and the latest available newspaper issue are displayed

Graph: (DDBNEXT-3209)

• The element visualizes all available newspaper issues of the Zeitungsportal in a line diagram
• The user can select a certain year by moving the slider over the line
• The selected year and the number of newspaper issues of the year are displayed in the slider
• By clicking on the button in the silder the user is linked to a search results page with all issues of the respective year
• SM: The timeline is horizontally scrollable
• XS: The timeline is not displayed

"Heute vor 100 Jahren": (DDBNEXT-3210)

• The element depicts the cover of a newspaper issue published exactly 100 years ago
• If there are more than one newspaper issues published on this date the cover displayed is selected by chance
• If there are no newspaper issues published on this date the cover of the chronologically next newspaper issue is displayed
• On top today's date is displayed; on the bottom the title of the newspaper is displayed
• With the blue buttons the user can browse through the different days, alway one day back resp. one day after
• When browsing through different days, the date and title of the selected newspaper is displayed.
• By clicking on "Anzeigen" button the user gets to the viewer page of the respective newspaper issue
• XS: The image should also be swipeable with the same function as the buttons

• Klicking inkl. Vorschau auf Zeitungscover und Datum vor exakt 100 Jahren vorhanden. "Nach oben"-Button erscheint rechts unten. Bei Klick gelangt man an den oberen Anfang der Seite.

Klickpfade

"Titel/Ort/Jahr auswählen":

• Klick auf "Titel auswählen", "Ort auswählen" oder "Jahr auswählen" führt auf neue Seite, bei der das gewählte Sortierkriterium (Zeitungstitel, Verbreitungsort, Erscheinungstermin) vorausgewählt ist
• Zeitungstitel:
  Eine alphabetisch sortierte Liste erscheint, die pro Treffer Vorschaubild, Titel, Erscheinungsverlauf, Erscheinungsfrequenz und Verbreitungsort enthält. In der ersten Spalte der Liste gruppiert eine Box mit dem Anfangsbuchstaben die folgenden Treffer. Beim Scrollen nach unten werden weitere Treffer zur Anzeige nachgeladen.
  Über der Trefferliste wird eine Filterleiste angezeigt, die die Anfangsbuchstaben der Titel aller verfügbaren Treffer anklickbar und weiß darstellt. Ein Klick auf einen Buchstaben filtert die Treffer danach.
  In der Filterleiste kann man rechts in dem weißen Eingabefeld per Eingabe von Text innerhalb der Zeitungstitel suchen und damit die Trefferliste filtern. Dabei wird bereits ab der Eingabe des ersten Buchstabens die Trefferliste gefiltert.
  Beim Klick auf das Vorschaubild gelangt man zur Zeitungsdetailseite.
• Verbreitungsort:
  Die Funktionsweise und Darstellung erfolgt analog zu Zeitungstitel. Es wird anstatt nach dem Zeitungstitel nach Verbreitungsort gefiltert. Unterschied: In der ersten Spalte der Liste gruppiert eine Box die folgenden Treffer, die nicht nur den Anfangsbuchstaben sondern den gesamten Ortsnamen enthält.
• Erscheinungstermin:
  Pro Jahrhundert, in dem Zeitungen vorhanden sind, wird eine separate Box angezeigt, in der die Jahreszahlen, bei denen Zeitungen vorhanden sind, weiß und anklickbar sind.
  Bei Klick auf eine Jahreszahl erscheint ein Kalender, in dem pro Monat eine separate Box angezeigt wird, in der die Tage, bei denen Zeitungen vorhanden sind, weiß und anklickbar sind. Zusätzlich erscheint oberhalb des Kalenders die ausgewählte Jahreszahl als Filter. Löscht man dieses per Klick auf das X gelangt man zurück zur vorherigen Jahresauswahl.
  Beim Klick auf ein Datum gelangt man zur Trefferliste. Oberhalb der Trefferliste sind Jahreszahl und Datum als Filter sichtbar. Löscht man den Datumsfilter per Klick auf das X gelangt man zurück zur vorherigen Jahresauswahl. Löscht man den Jahreszahlfilter per Klick auf das X gelangt man direkt zurück zur Jahresauswahl und beide Filter sind dadurch gelöscht.

Graph:

• Es wird ein Graph angezeigt, der als Start- und Enddatum die Werte verwendet, die oben auf der Seite unter "Geschichte aus erster Hand" genannt werden.
• Per Mouseover auf dem Graph wird in einer Box ausgewählte Jahreszahl, Anzahl der Zeitungen und ein "Anzeigen"-Button sichtbar. Wenn man diesen klickt gelangt man zur entsprechenden Suchergebnisliste.

"Heute vor 100 Jahren":

• In der linken Box wird unter dem Datum als Überschrift ein Vorschaubild einer Zeitungsausgabe und darunter deren Titel angezeigt.
• Mittels der blauen Navigationspfeile kann man durch die Tage blättern (immer 1 Tag vor/zurück). Dabei ändert sich das angezeigt Datum entsprechend.
• Beim Klick auf das Vorschaubild oder den "Anzeigen"-Button gelangt man zur Ansicht der ausgewählten Ausgabe im Viewer.

Select by title page: (DDBNEXT-3216)

• This page shows all newspapers available in the Zeitungsportal sorted alphabetically ascending
• "Tabs" and filter block on top are sticky
• For performance reasons only some newspapers should be loaded initially, more newspapers should be loaded if the user scrolls down
• Elements for each newspaper
  • Thumbnail
  • Title
  • Erscheinungsverlauf
  • Erscheinungsfrequenz
  • Verbreitungsort
  • "Volltext" icon if the newpaper has at least one issue with full texts
• Thumbnail and title are linked to the newspaper page

• XS: Metadata elements are displayed only after clicking on "Mehr anzeigen" [in the XD-prototype the Erscheinungsbild is displayed, but the will probably not work because the titles are too long]
• On the left side the active character filter is displayed, initially "Alle"

General filters

• On top we see three "tabs", the active "tab" is red; the other tabs are linked to the Select by place/by date page
• XS: The "tabs" are replaced by a dropdown
• Below the "tabs" is a register and a search field
• Initially "Alle" is highlighted; if the user clicks on a character the list is filtered an the character is displayed on the left side
• The user can narrow down the list by entering characters into the search field; the list adapts immediately

Select by place page: (DDBNEXT-3217)

This page works similar to the "Select by title page", only that the list is sorted by the Verbreitungsort alphabetically ascending and within the Verbreitungsort by the newspaper alphabetically ascending.
If the newspaper has more than one Verbreitungsort it appears repeated in the list.
The filters (register, search field) do not refer to the title but to the Verbreitungsort.

Select by date page: (DDBNEXT-3218)

General centuries page

• This page shows all years - arranged by centuries - with at least one newspaper issue in the year
• "Tabs" block on top is sticky
• Years without any newspaper issue are greyed out
• Years with at least one newspaper issue are white and clickable; on mouse over the year background colour is blue
• If the user clicks on a year, e.g. 1834, he gets to the year page
• XS: Centuries are displayed only on demand

General year page

• This page shows all dates - arranged by months - with at least one newspaper issue
• "Tabs" block on top is sticky
• Dates without any newspaper issue are greyed out
• Dates with at least one newspaper issue are white and clickable; on mouse over the date background colour is blue
• The active year is displayed on top as a removable filter
• If the user clicks on the filter he gets back to the centuries page
• If the user clicks on a date, e.g. 03.02., he gets to the list page
• XS: Different calendar design; users can browse through the months or go directly to a specific month; in the dropdown months without newspaper issues should be greyed out

General list page

• This page shows all Newspaper issues of the date
• "Tabs" block on top is sticky
• Elements for each newspaper
  • Thumbnail
  • Title
  • Date of issue
  • "Mehr Informationen zu dieser Zeitung" link
  • "Volltext" icon if the newspaper has at least one issue with full texts

Newspaper pageZeitungsdetailseite

• In der obersten Box erscheint der Titel der Zeitung und darunter in der linken Spalte Erscheinungsverlauf, Erscheinungsfrequenz, Verbreitungsort, Sprache, ZDB-ID und ein Suchschlitz.
• Optional erscheint in der rechten Spalte weiß hinterlegt das Logo sowie Links (Beispiel: Berliner Tageblatt).
• Über die Suche per Suchschlitz kann in Volltexten (falls vorhanden) dieser Zeitung gesucht werden. Die Suche führt zum Viewer.
• Falls keine Volltexte existieren erscheint ein entsprechender Info-Text beim Lupensymbol.

• Einfache Suche über Suchschlitz auf der Startseite bzw. im Header funktioniert und liefert Ergebnisse in einer Suchergebnisliste (Voraussetzung: Objekte ingestiert).

Search results page: (DDBNEXT-3211)Suchergebnisliste

Header:

• Im Header der Suchergebnisliste erscheint links die Anzahl der Ergebnisse, rechts ein Sortierfeld, das nach 5 unterschiedlichen Kriterien sortieren kann. Letzteres löst nach einer vorgenommenen Änderung eine sofortige neue Suche aus.
• Oberhalb kann man einen Button "Suche speichern" klicken, der zum persönlichen Bereich führt. Ist man nicht eingeloggt erscheint ein entsprechender Hinweis.
