  • This block works similar to the Select by date pages only that the calendars only refer to issues of the active news
  • Centuries view
    • Here we see all years - arranged by centuries - with at least one issue of the active newspaper in the century
    • Only centuries are displayed with at least one year with issues
    • Years without any issue are greyed out
    • Years with at least one issue are white and clickable; on mouse over the year background colour is blue
    • If the user clicks on a year, e.g. 1834, the block changes to the year view
  • Year view
    • Here we see all dates - arranged by months - with issues of the active newspaper
    • Dates without issues are greyed out
    • Dates with at least one newspaper issue are white and clickable; on mouse over the date background colour is blue
    • The active year is displayed on top as a removable filter
    • If the user clicks on the filter he gets back to the centuries view
    • If the user clicks on a date, e.g. 03.02., he gets to the viewer page of the newspaper issue
    • If the user clicks on a date, e.g. 03.02., and there are more than one issues for the date, he gets to a list view of the respective date
  • XS: Centuries are displayed only on demand
  • XS: Different calendar design; users can browse through the months or go directly to a specific month; in the dropdown months without newspaper issues should be greyed out [same calendar like on the Select by date pages; no correctly visualized in the XD-prototype]
