Beschreibung
Bezeichnung des Archivalientyps bzw. der Medienart des Digitalisats.
In <physdesc> kann sich dies auf alle Verzeichnungsebenen der Tektonik- oder Findbuch-EAD-Datei beziehen (z.B. um einen kompletten Tektonik-Ast, einen Bestand oder ein einzelnes Archivale als "Karten- und Pläne" zu kennzeichnen.
In <item> bezieht sich dies auf den Medientyp des zugehörigen Digitalisats des Archivales oder des Vorgangs (siehe unter Werte).
