- all parts of the element are optional and can be ordered
- can be used in varying grids in the content area:
- text without media - 70% of the content width
- media without text - 70% o the content width
- text 70%, media 30%
- text 50%, media 50%
- text-to-image ratio is not important when:
- only text or image is available
- the screen width is too narrow
- the element is part of a grid
