General:
Design:
The entire CCC portal is to be displayed in the color Aqua (CCC-3):
- Primary color : RGB 0 129 142 (#00818E)
- Secondary color : RGB 0 181 194 (#00B5C2
Header (CCC-5):
- The header has a width of 100 %
- The header is sticky
- The logo is linked to the start page of the Zeitungsportal
- The middle placed search bar consists of input field, the information about the number of available items (CCC-5) and a magnifier
- In the middle of the header is a search field, which is always active - no search module as in the new DDB portal (CCC-5)
- Text in the search field: "Search in collections from colonial contexts" (EN) or "Suche in Sammlungsgut aus kolonialen Kontexten" (DE)
- The button in the search field has a mouse over effect and turns to a hand with pointing finger
- A search leads to the search results page (objects must be ingested und indexed, first)
- The person icon is visible (CCC-5) (not implemented yet)
- The icons are always visible. Color Aqua (dark cyan) for logged in and grey for logged out (not implemented yet)
- The logo has language and size variants 2 each (CCC-4)
- SM/XS: Smaller logo (CCC-4)
- SM/XS: Search field is not displayed but only a magnifier (check the requirement)
Above the header a grey element on top (Ein Portal der Deutschen Digitalen Bibliothek) is linked to the home page of the DDB. The element is visible on all pages and disappears when scrolling down.
Menü: (CCC-6)
- The menu opens with a click on the menu icon
- Animation: The menu slides over the content from the right margin
- The content is greyed out if the menu is opened
- We menu is as in the DDB portal. There are only three menu items for the beginning: Start page / About us / FAQ (CCC-6 and CCC-16)
- All menu items are linked to the DDB sites not to Zeitungsportal sites (check the requirement)
- The person icon should be linked to the "Meine DDB" favorites page (not implemented yet)
- Mouse over menu items are underlined
- The menu closes with a click on the x-icon or by the ESC key
- XS: Person icon is only visible in the menu (not implemented yet)
- XS: The menu must be scrollable
Footer (CCC-7):
- The footer has a width of 100 %
- The menu has the same items as in the current DDB (check the requirement)
- The social links are the same as in the DDB portal just with different icons
- On mouse over menu items should be underlined.
- SM, MD: Only the first two menu items are visible by default; further items can be faded in by clicking on "Mehr" (not implemented yet)
- XS: The menu items are arranged differently
Startpage (CCC-8):
- Available via url ".../ccc"
- On top we see the claim, a subtitle, a key visual and a search field
- The content is centered horizontally like in the entire DDB Portal

Search results page (CCC-9):
General:
- CCC objects are also displayed in the same way in the DDB portal. If an object is found in the DDB search that is also available in the CCC portal, a link is provided to the DDB object page (CCC-1)

Object page (CCC-10):
General:
The object page corresponds largely to the DDB portal, the differences are (CCC-10):
- The "Show object" link is not displayed by default
- Similar objects in the page bottom refer only to similar objects in the CCC portal
- In case that individual data providers (Datengeber) insist on a link to the object at the data provider website, the link must be displayed to the object for individual data providers in deviation from the rule that the link is not displayed. (CCC-14)
Header:
