In addition to subjects and themes (in LIDO: <lido:subjectConcept>), individually identifiable persons or places depicted in an object or work may also be recorded as subject keywords. This should be done in separate fields so that they can be transferred to the LIDO elements <lido:subjectActor> and <lido:subjectPlace> during data export.
CARE: Persons from the communities of origin should be involved in the cataloguing work to allow for different interpretation models and possible interpretations. Alternative vocabularies are helpful to mitigate the Eurocentric perspective (see Terminology recommendation).
